Honey Mushrooms

The next trip to the woods after cutting down this old dead tree, I found these honey mushrooms. Honey mushrooms eat dead and sometimes living trees, which is necessary for the balance of nature....I just hope they leave the other trees alone until they die.
In any case, these mushrooms are delicious. I ate just the caps my first time around. When they're small though, I bet the whole mushroom is good.
